A cross functional collaborator who will work with multiple areas serving IGT's global customer base both internal and external.\nLeads assembly line shifts, ensuring execution of production activities and requirements; identifies resources to meet production needs, schedule, and expectations.\nIdentifies and communicates information on product quality, defect prevention, product disposition, and repair activity to cross-functional teams; escalates concerns.\nAssists in the resolution of part shortages or expediting product.\nResponsible for monitoring daily staffing assignments.\nCommunicates workspace cleanliness responsibilities, ensuring adequate completion.\nPromotes proper safety practices, ensuring adherence to established safety guidelines.\nResponsible for setting and communicating daily objectives, ensuring alignment with department goals.\nLeads continuous improvement activities impacting manufacturing processes, procedures, and production.\nDevelops continuous improvement methodologies.\nAuthors work instruction documentation for a wide variety of manufacturing processes.\nDocuments completion of production processes.\nAssists with basic troubleshooting issues as required.\nTrains and mentors less experienced team members.\nCustomarily and regularly directs the work and manages the personnel issues of direct report employees, including recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, coaching, and developing staff; recommends or initiates promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.\nQualifications\nEducation / Certification:\nBachelor’s Degree or a combination of education and equivalent work experience in a related field required.\nJob Knowledge / Minimum Work Experience:\n3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or related role; industry experience preferred.\nIn-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes; company products preferred.\nDemonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAdvanced proficiency in failure investigation and root cause analysis.\nDemonstrated ability to create product and testing processes and documentation.\nDemonstrated experience with continuous improvement processes, discrepant material review, and root cause investigation.\nExperience providing manufacturing process and quality engineering support.\nKeys to Success\nBuilding collaborative relationships\nDecision making\nDrive results\nFoster innovation\nPersonal energy\nSelf-leadership\nIGT is committed to sustaining a workforce that reflects the diversity of the global customers and communities we serve and to fostering an inclusive environment where all employees feel valued, respected, and engaged. These factors may result in variation in starting pay. The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $70,000- $80,000 annually USD, based on a good-faith assessment at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary. IGT complies with all applicable pay transparency and compensation laws and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.\nBase pay is one component of IGT’s total rewards program. Depending on the role, employees may be eligible for bonus or commission opportunities.
