This is a hands-on, learning-focused role for someone who wants real exposure to how a B2B marketing function runs inside a technically sophisticated, security-sensitive biometric identity business.\nYou will support delivery across content, social media, events, demand generation and reporting - gaining practical experience across the full marketing mix rather than sitting in a single lane. You will be given real work with real stakes, coached along the way, and expected to bring energy, curiosity and reliability to everything you take on.\nThe Marketing Intern helps keep the marketing engine moving: drafting and coordinating content, supporting campaigns and events, doing research, and keeping reporting and admin on track - freeing up the Head of Marketing to focus on strategy and stakeholder work.\nWHAT YOU OWN\nContent & Social Media Support\nDraft, format and schedule content across social media, the website and internal channels, aligned to brand guidelines and voice\nSupport the content calendar: track deadlines, chase inputs from stakeholders, and flag gaps ahead of time\nAssist the Head of Marketing with building case studies, blog posts.\nMonitor social channels and flag engagement, mentions or issues that need a response\nCampaign & Demand Generation Support\nSupport the setup, execution and tracking of marketing campaigns across email, social and paid channels\nSet up campaigns and help maintain the CRM and marketing automation tool. Including but not limited to uploading lists, basic segmentation, reporting, copy and design editing.\nPull together campaign performance data into clear, simple summaries for the Head of Marketing\nEvents & Ecosystem Support\nAssist with the planning and on-the-ground logistics of internal and external events, conferences and sponsorships\nHelp prepare event collateral, stands, presentations and follow-up materials\nSupport post-event admin: attendee lists, feedback collation and follow-up tracking\nMarket & Competitive Research\nConduct research into competitors, industry trends and the digital identity landscape to support positioning work\nPull together clear, well-organised summaries the Head of Marketing can use in planning and stakeholder conversations\nReporting & Marketing Operations Support\nMaintain and update marketing project calendars and project dashboards\nSupport monthly reporting by pulling data together accurately and on time\nKeep shared drives, templates and asset libraries organised and up to date\nAI-Augmented Ways of Working\nUse AI tools to support research, first drafts, content ideas and admin, under guidance from the Head of Marketing\nBuild practical AI and prompt-writing skills as part of day-to-day work, with a focus on quality control and originality\nLearning & Development\nActively seek feedback and apply it quickly; treat every task as a chance to build a real marketing skillset\nBring a proactive, ask-questions attitude - flag when something is unclear rather than guessing\nTake ownership of assigned tasks end-to-end, escalating early when something is off track\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR\nExperience\nNo formal marketing experience required; prior internship, part-time, society, or personal-project experience in marketing, content or social media is an advantage\nSome exposure to social media management, writing, design or events (through study, a side project or a previous role) is a plus\nComfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and limited structure\nSkills\nStrong written communication skills and an eye for detail\nOrganised, with the ability to juggle several small tasks and deadlines at once\nComfortable with everyday digital tools (Microsoft Office or Google Workspace); familiarity with Canva, social scheduling tools or a CRM is a bonus, not a requirement\nCurious about AI tools and willing to use them, with guidance, to work faster and smarter\nA team player who is proactive, reliable and keen to learn\nEducation\nRecently completed, a qualification in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business or a related field\nCULTURE AND BENEFITS\nWhy Join Us\niiDENTIFii is solving one of the most consequential technical problems in Africa's digital economy: how do you verify that someone is who they say they are, remotely, at scale, across infrastructure that is inconsistent and high stakes?
