IKEA is the global home furnishing brand founded in Sweden in 1943, and its main website is operated by Inter IKEA Systems, the worldwide IKEA franchisor based in Delft in the Netherlands. The wider Inter IKEA Group develops the product range and runs purchasing, supply and manufacturing operations, including IKEA Industry factories in Poland and Portugal, while franchisees such as Ingka Group operate IKEA stores worldwide. Its openings span production workers, forklift operators, maintenance and PLC technicians, design and embedded software engineers, business developers at purchasing offices, transport planners, finance staff and store co-workers.

At IKEA, we do things a little different. We think, differently. Act, differently. And work differently as well. We like to break things. Like rules. And then make things. Like music-playing lamps.
