On a typical working day, you will:\nManage the research, drafting and submitting of Classification Binding Rulings processes \nContribute to well-functioning processes supporting IKEA Supply action plans and strategic roadmap \nCollaborate and communicate classification matters with both internal and external stakeholders \nMaintain evidence based reasoning and documentation supporting classification decisions \nSupport tariff classification during customs audits by drafting well reasoned and evidence based justification \n What we’d like you to bring to the table\nTo be successful in the role as a Customs Classification Specialist we believe you have:\nExcellent knowledge of customs tariff classification including strong command of the harmonized system and tariff classification principles \nDemonstrated expertise in obtaining rulings using the tools by which rulings are submitted \nA good understanding of digital tools used for for classification \nAnalytical skills including a solid understanding of analysis tools as well as fluency in written and spoken English \nIt’s a plus if you also:\nHave an understanding of import, export and other customs regulations as well as knowledge of the IKEA value chain \nKnow how to standardize classification processes and improve data quality \nHave knowledge of Global Trade Management products and platforms \n Be yourself, a Customs Classification Specialist, and more!\nInter IKEA Group is the group of companies that connects IKEA franchisees with range development and suppliers and aligns the overall IKEA strategic direction.
