That means building the team, the ways of working, and the stakeholder relationships that make governance genuinely useful - not just policy on paper, but something that helps people across IIG make better decisions with data.\nMore specifically, you will:\nLead and develop a team focused on domain governance and data management. \nEstablish and evolve ways of working that make data easier to govern, trust, and reuse. \nBuild understanding, engagement, and adoption through coaching, communication, and storytelling. \nDrive the implementation of a shared domain operating model. \nCreate alignment between business processes, data domains, and technology capabilities. \nHelp teams solve real business challenges through practical and hands-on data management in close collaboration with our data product teams. \nContinuously simplify and improve how data is managed across IKEA. \nEnsure governance enables business outcomes while supporting quality, compliance, and long-term value. \n You are an experienced leader who can bring people together around a common vision and turn complex challenges into practical solutions.\nYou likely bring:\nExperience leading data governance, data management, or domain-driven data initiatives in large organisations. \nA track record of driving transformation and successfully embedding new ways of working. \nStrong leadership skills with experience building engaged, high-performing teams. \nThe ability to influence stakeholders across business and technology functions. \nDeep knowledge of data governance, lifecycle management, quality, and accountability. \nConfidence balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. \nA passion for simplification, continuous improvement, and creating real business value through data. \nMost importantly, you believe that governance it’s not an end goal, it should help people move faster, make better decisions, and achieve more together.\n We look forward to receiving your application by 10th of November at the latest.
