We are now looking for a Junior Full-stack Software Engineer to join our Imagination Capabilities or Range Imagination team and help shape the next generation of digital products in home e-commerce.\n\n Who you are\n We’re looking for a curious and motivated Junior Full-Stack Engineer to help us build and improve various solutions across home imagination platform. You’ll contribute throughout the software development lifecycle—from understanding requirements and designing solutions to implementation, testing, deployment, and improvement. \n\nThis role is ideal for someone early in their career who has strong software engineering fundamentals, enjoys learning, and is excited to explore modern development approaches, including agentic coding and AI-assisted development. \n\nYou might be a great fit if you: \n\n- Have 1-2 years of experience in software engineering roles. \n- Have strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/Typescript, Node.js & React. \n- Have practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native development. \n- Understand DevOps principles and curious to learn about infrastructure and automation using Terraform. \n- Are comfortable working in agile product teams, owning development, quality, and operations together with your team. \n- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, and actively contribute to engineering best practices. \n- Are curious, proactive, and continuously looking for better ways of working. \n- Contribute to CI/CD, observability, and general engineering improvements \n- Use modern development tools, including AI-assisted and agentic coding tools, responsibly and effectively \n\n The IKEA culture and values are central to how we work.
