By working across functions and businesses, we create complete solutions that make everyday life at home better.\nAbout the role\nAs a Packaging Solution Engineer, you will:\nLead development of costumer friendly, total low cost and sustainable packaging solutions for the IKEA range.\n\nApply packaging design for efficient manufacturing and logistics in an omni-channel landscape.\n\nManage potential safety and quality risks during the development of the product and the packaging solution.\n\nTest and verify the packaging solution during the development phase according to IKEA packaging requirements\n\nSecure creation of packaging documentation according to IKEA standards and guidelines.\n\nGuide and support development partners from a range perspective on packaging solutions.\n\nIdentify potential packaging improvement and give data-based input to action planning, supply chain set up, sales solutions and selling patterns.\n\nActively capture and share learnings connected to packing solutions throughout IKEA and to partners.\n\nQualifications\nAboutYou\nTo succeed in this role we see that you have an engineering background, preferably within the area of packaging materials and solutions. You have experience with CAD programs and product lifecycle management systems, such as SolidWorks and Windchill.\nWe see that you are a committed and self-driven person with a strong will to influence and make a difference. You are solution oriented with the ability to prioritize and take quick decisions.\nYou have strong communication skills in English and the ability to create confidence and build relations.
