The impact of your work will touch homes and hearts around the world.\nOn a typical day, you will:\nHelp shape and evolve the modernized Supplier Collaboration Platform, enabling seamless collaboration between IKEA engineers and suppliers across the globe.\n\nDesign, build, and maintain modern web applications, APIs, and cloud-native services using technologies such as React, .NET10 and Azure.\n\nContribute to the Standard Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiative, helping create scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions that support the future of product development.\n\nWork across the full product lifecycle, from discovery and solution design to implementation, deployment, and continuous improvement.\n\nCollaborate closely with engineers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to solve complex challenges and deliver business value.\n\nInfluence technical direction and contribute to architecture, design decisions, and engineering best practices.\n\nFoster a culture of collaboration, openness, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing.\n\nBring curiosity and fresh ideas that improve both our digital products and the way we work.\n\nEnsure high-quality, maintainable software through code reviews, automated testing, observability, and modern software engineering practices.\n\nWhat we’d like you to bring to the table\nThis role as a Software Engineer requires you to:\nHave strong hands-on experience in .NET 10 backend development, combined with modern frontend development using React, with 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.\n\nBe proficient in designing, building, and operating scalable web applications, APIs, and cloud-native solutions.\n\nHave solid experience working with Microsoft Azure and modern cloud architectures.\n\nDemonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.\n\nHave good interpersonal skills: active listening, coaching and facilitation.\n\nBe an excellent communicator by communicating in a clear, structured and honest way - both with inhouse and offshore team and colleagues\n\nHave a deep understanding of IKEA's core values and cultural principles as well as a mindset and way of working that reflects this\n\nIt’s a plus if you also:\nHave experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, supplier collaboration platforms, or other enterprise solutions that support product development processes.\n\nWorked with CI/CD, Terraform (IaC), Github Actions and cloud services\n\nHave knowledge of RDBMS database technologies like Postgres DB, Oracle\n\nHave experience with Playwright for Frontend testing\n\nAre skilled in building dynamic and responsive user interfaces with React\n\nBe yourself, a Software Engineer and more!\nInter IKEA Group is the group of companies that connects IKEA franchisees with range development and suppliers and aligns the overall IKEA strategic direction.
