Candidates would need to work a minimum of 40 hours per week in our Decatur office. This is for recent graduates as well as experienced individuals in engineering.\nResponsibilities:\nAssisting design in drawing production and prepare them for commercial building projects.\nReview project files for compliance with Standards/protocols\nLearn laser scanning for 3D model creation of buildings\nImplement best practice procedures for engineering analysis\nProduce accurate 2D drawings, 3D models\nCoordinating drawing production in line with project requirements and in conjunction with other discipline.\nHelping to technically deliver CAD/BIM projects in the role of CAD and BIM coordination\nAble to meet tight deadlines and able to work alone or with a team\nQualities and Skills:\nDesire to obtain the Certificate of Development in BIM, Part 1 certification (CD-BIM.com).\nHave a working knowledge of 1 of the following disciplines: Architecture, Structure, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing or Civil.\nInterested in learning other areas of the building industry beyond the discipline they know.\nGood working knowledge of at least 1 one of the following Autodesk products: AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Inventor, and/or Civil 3D.\nExperience working in the commercial building industry is a plus.\nExcellent communications skills both written and verbal\nExcellent organizational skills\nAble to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information\nSelf-motivated, hardworking, and able to take responsibility in a proactive approach to daily task\nFlexible attitude\nDesirable:\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office 2016 or higher.
