This\nrole will provide the opportunity to work on some of the most innovative and\nexclusive projects that IKERD are involved with globally. Candidates will need\nto work 48-56 hours per week and typically will work remote from home\nor at our Torreón office. This is for recent graduates as well as\nexperienced individuals in engineering with a strong desire to learn.\nThe position requires someone who is a creative problem solver, quick\nthinker, and sound decision maker. They must have zero tolerance for gossip with\na team first, servant-leader, heart to help the firm communicate and serve\nclients with excellence.\nResponsibilities:\n·Learning and mastering\nAutodesk Civil 3D, Revit Structure, and other BIM software.\n·Assisting design in\ndrawing production and prepare them for commercial building projects.\n·Review project files for\ncompliance with standards /protocols.\n·Learn laser scanning for\n3D model creation of buildings.\n·Implement best practice\nprocedures for engineering analysis.\n·Produce accurate 2D\ndrawings, 3D models.\n·Coordinating drawing\nproduction in line with project requirements and in conjunction with other disciplines.\n·Help to technically\ndeliver CAD/BIM projects in the role of CAD and BIM coordination.\n·Ability to focus and\nwork well alone or collaborative within a team.\n·Ability to meet tight deadlines.\nQualities and Skills:\nA working knowledge of one of the following disciplines: Mechanical,Electrical, Plumbing, Structure, Civil or Architecture.\n\nA multi-disciplinary, developing, working knowledgeand aptitude of the building industry.\n\nProficiency of BIM modeling in at least one of theseAutodesk products: AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Inventor, and/or Civil 3D.\n\n·Desire to obtain the Certificate of Development in BIM,\nPart 1 certification (CD-BIM.com) and Autodesk Professional Revit\nCertifications.\n·Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
