The successful candidate will be responsible for driving assigned vehicles, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness, planning routes, and ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers.\nThe ideal candidate must demonstrate professionalism, discretion, punctuality, and a strong commitment to road safety and responsible vehicle handling.\nKey Responsibilities\nSafely transport the employer, passengers, or other authorised persons to designated destinations.\nEnsure timely arrival for appointments, meetings, errands, and other scheduled journeys.\nPlan routes efficiently and stay informed about traffic conditions and alternative routes within Abuja.\nMaintain the cleanliness and presentable condition of the assigned vehicle, both inside and outside.\nConduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, including checks on tyres, brakes, lights, oil, coolant, and fuel levels.\nMonitor vehicle servicing schedules and promptly report mechanical faults, damage, or maintenance requirements.\nEnsure the vehicle has sufficient fuel for scheduled journeys.\nComply with traffic regulations, speed limits, parking rules, and all applicable road safety requirements.\nMaintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling personal or business-related information.\nAssist with loading and unloading luggage, packages, or other items when required.\nKeep accurate records of journeys, fuel purchases, mileage, and vehicle expenses where necessary.\nEnsure that the vehicle's documents, insurance, and other required records are kept up to date in coordination with management.\nReport accidents, traffic incidents, delays, and other vehicle-related issues promptly.\nCarry out assigned driving-related errands and other reasonable duties as required.\nRequirements And Qualifications\nValid Nigerian driver's licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle.\nPrevious experience as a professional, personal, corporate, or executive driver is an advantage.\nGood knowledge of Abuja roads, particularly Wuse 2 and surrounding areas.\nDemonstrable knowledge of defensive driving and road safety practices.\nAbility to use navigation applications such as Google Maps.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\nPunctual, honest, trustworthy, and responsible.\nNeat, well-presented, and professional in conduct.\nAbility to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality.\nPhysically fit to perform the duties associated with the role.\nNo history of reckless driving or serious road safety violations.\nWillingness to work flexible hours when required, subject to agreed work arrangements.\nRequired Skills And Competencies\nSafe and responsible driving.\nTime management and punctuality.\nRoute planning and navigation.\nBasic vehicle inspection and maintenance awareness.\nProfessional conduct and passenger care.\nReliability, discretion, and attention to detail.\nProblem-solving and calm decision-making in traffic or unexpected
