If you’re commercially driven, people-focused and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, we want you!\nSo, what will you do?\nYou will be responsible for assisting with the management of an iKStore with full ownership and accountability when the Store Manager is not on site.\nYou will also be accountable for driving monthly sales, activation ratio’s, staff route planning for outbound activities, proactively creating revenue-generating opportunities in line with iKhokha performance goals.\nYou will be opening & closing the store with adherence to trading times according to iKStore operating hours and assisting in creating efficient and delightful merchant instore experiences.\nYou will act as an immediate support to sales agents within the iKStore network.\nYou will oversee the stock management processes within the iKStore.\nIn addition to the above, you will:\nBe accountable for the performance of agents based in the designated store and dialling leads generated in field for conversion as well as driving sales.\nAssist with traction on store ratings online and providing great customer service.\nProvide In-field supervision of the sales agent as well as train and coach field & in-store agents.\nAdherence to store operating hours.\nProvide assistance on in profile creations for merchants and conduct check-ins with merchants previously visited by agents.\nMonitor productivity of staff daily as per company requirement and management of time and attendance.\nAssisting with stock management by receiving and dispatching stock as well as weekly stock takes and cycle counting.\nBasic understanding of POS systems for stock management and management of store asset registers.\nReport back to internal stakeholders weekly and monthly on store performance.\nReport to the Store manager daily regarding feedback on general in-store activity.\nReporting to logistics/finance on any stock queries.\nReport in required market insights within the designated area.\n National Senior Certificate (Matric) is required. \nDeal Breakers:\nMinimum 1 year field or retail experience, ideally in an Assistant Store Manager or similar role with the following:\nCold calling sales experience with the ability to convert cold and warm leads gathered by sales staff.\nProficiency in MS Office, specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel, as well as experience in CRM systems, preferably Hubspot.\nAn understanding of retail and branch operating dynamics.\nBasic understanding of logistics processes and best practice of managing stock inflows and outflows.\nStrong skills in professional communication over the phone as well as strong commercial skills and business acumen, with the ability to execute against sales and customer service targets.\nStrong interpersonal and people management skills with proven ability to coach and energise salespeople in the branch environment.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to speak both English and vernacular language within designated store.\nIn addition to the above, the experience in the following technologies, domains and best practices will make you a frontrunner for the role:\nOrganizational, planning and strong negotiation skills.\nA confident and assertive communicator with strong influencing and negotiation skills.\nOperationally strong with tactical thinking skills and solid analytical abilities.\nProven ability to manage sales performance against assigned targets.\nSolutions oriented and excellent team-worker who is able to motivate, manage, coach and lead a junior team.\n Perks of joining the Tribe?\nWork in a high-growth company with tangible results you're accountable for.\nEnjoy hybrid, remote, and in-office work models.\nCompetitive remuneration and benefits, including reduced Gap cover rates.
