Process Engineer (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Developing and evaluating process concepts and technical solutions for customer projects in cement pyroprocessing-from defining the design basis through to detailed process engineering.
• Process design and sizing of plant components such as cyclones, filters, fans, rotary kilns, and other pyroprocessing equipment.
• Analyzing plant operating conditions and process data, conducting root-cause analyses, and implementing optimization measures to improve efficiency, reliability, and emissions performance.
• Supporting commissioning, plant start-ups, plant audits, and process optimization projects, as well as providing expert technical advice to customers.
• Serving as the technical point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders and leading technical coordination meetings, presentations, and problem-solving activities.
• Collaborating closely with global engineering, sales, and service teams to develop best practices, enhance technical standards, and drive continuous improvement.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Sound knowledge of process engineering fundamentals, particularly thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, and process calculations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a practical and solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to communicate complex technical matters clearly and convincingly to customers and internal stakeholders.
• High level of personal responsibility and reliability, with the ability to work independently as part of a global team.
• English proficiency at C2 level, both written and spoken; Spanish language skills are an advantage.
• Experience in cement production, cement pyroprocessing, or other high-temperature process industries-such as petrochemicals, refining, power generation, or pulp and paper-is an advantage.
• Experience with process engineering tools, simulation software, data analysis methods, and process control systems is desirable.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
