People like you!\nJob Description\nThe Financial Analyst is responsible for providing accurate, timely, and actionable financial and operational analysis to support Shared Services, Sales, and Finance. This role will manage recurring reporting, including DSO, rebate accuracy and turnaround time, invoicing performance, and AP statistics, while also supporting Sales budgeting, Actual vs. Budget analysis, and monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual commission calculations.\nThe role will leverage JDE ERP, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other financial systems to develop and maintain reporting, analyze business performance, identify trends and variances, and provide insights that support informed business decisions. The Financial Analyst will also respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests and identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, automation, and efficiency.\nThis is a fully on-site opportunity based at 6 Denny Rd, Wilmington, DE. Please apply only if you are comfortable commuting to this location daily.\nWHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?\nCompetitive compensation/pay package\nDental/Vision/Medical benefits\nLife Insurance\nHealth Spending Account\nEmployee Support and Mental Wellness\nCompetitive matched retirement savings program - RRSP\nBe part of a long-standing and stable industry leader\nWHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE;\nDevelop, maintain, and distribute scheduled Shared Services reporting, including but not limited to:\nDSO (Days Sales Outstanding) Reporting\nRebate Accuracy Reporting\nRebate Turnaround Time Reporting\nInvoicing Scorecard\nAccounts Payable (AP) Statistics and Reporting\nAccounts Receivable (AR) Statistics and Reporting\nEnsure recurring reports are accurate, timely, and aligned with established reporting requirements.\nAnalyze reporting results to identify trends, variances, process issues, and opportunities for improvement.\nPartner with Shared Services teams to understand business requirements and improve reporting processes.\nAutomate and enhance recurring reports and dashboards where it is possible to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.\nAssist with Sales Budget Planning, including data gathering, analysis, validation, and reporting.\nSupport the development and maintenance of Sales budgets, forecasts, and financial models.\nPrepare Actual vs. Budget reporting for Sales, Rebates, and other key business areas.\nAnalyze sales performance, identify significant variances, and provide insights into key financial drivers.\nCalculate and validate monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual sales commissions in accordance with established compensation plans and commission structures.\nGather, reconcile, and validate sales, revenue, rebate, and other performance data used in commission calculations.\nPartner with Sales, Finance, HR, and other relevant departments to resolve commission discrepancies and ensure accurate and timely commission payments.\nMaintain commission calculation files, supporting documentation, and appropriate audit trails.\nAnalyze commission results and provide management reporting on commission expense, trends, and variances.\nAssist with changes to commission calculations resulting from updates to sales plans, territories, targets, or compensation structures.\nOUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;\nBachelor’s degree required.\nMinimum 3+ years of relevant professional experience in financial analysis, accounting, FP&A, business analysis, or a related field.\nDirect experience working with JDE ERP or a similar enterprise resource planning system.\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.\nDemonstrated experience with Microsoft Power BI, including creating, maintaining, and utilizing dashboards and reports.\nExperience with financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, and variance analysis.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nAbility to work with vast amounts of financial and operational data and identify meaningful trends and variances.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet recurring reporting and commission deadlines.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nWORK AUTHORIZATIONS AND TRAVEL;\nup to 10% - 15% within Canada and to the US\nBenefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
