People like you!\nJob Description\nIG Machine & Fibers Ltd. is a manufacturer of quality commercial and residential roofing products and part of the IKO Group of Companies. We presently have an opportunity for a Process Engineering Co-Op (12-month or 16-month contract) to join our team based in Brampton, Ontario beginning in January 2027. Please note, this is a Safety Sensitive position.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssist with large ongoing project to update our Standard Operating Procedures/Standard Working Instructions/checklists\nOrganizational work in the computer system using Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)\nLead continuous improvement projects to solve technical issues and improve process performance\nDrive the implementation of lean manufacturing strategies and troubleshooting tools\nObserving the production floor to figure out sequence of events, and assist with process map\nOrganization of documentation systems\nAssist with Health and Safety administration as required\nOther administrative duties as required\nQualifications:\nEnrolled in or new graduate of an Engineering or Technical Program\nTech savvy - highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint\nExperience with compliance documentation or processes\nGreat deal of energy and drive\nGreat organizational skills\nPossess great initiative\nAbility to learn quickly\nFlexibility\nISO 9001 understanding or experience - an asset\nWage:\n$23.50/hour - $26.50/hour\nWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools on a limited basis to assist in initial assessment, identification, and review of candidates.
