Leads safety, housekeeping efforts, and corrective actions within assigned projects and areas. Exemplifies safety in all actions and leads by example.\nLeads primary employees to meet established goals including: safety, quality, value, morale, and housekeeping. Plans and administers policies relating to all phases of personnel activity at plant.\nEnsures positive employee relations. Provides employee coaching and personal development. Makes employment decisions. Resolve employee issues through problem resolution, utilizing established performance counseling process.\nEnforces plant policies and procedures. Manages departmental performance measures, including visual controls, and provides regular progress reports to management team.\nManages department priorities. Manages exceptions and special causes. Notifies appropriate personnel as needed.\nAccurately and timely records personnel records. Completes all other required reports in a timely manner.\nResponsible for staffing per established levels based on pre-established efficiency levels.\nRecommend and coordinate changes as needed.\nResponsible for team scheduling to include work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.\nLeads the primary employee training effort through proper planning, scheduling, and coordination. Ensures training of new and cross-training employees as well as required up-date training.\nCoordinate with production manager on staffing, goals, and counseling of hourly associates.\nEstablish employee goals and conduct quarterly employee performance reviews.\nConduct interviews, hire new staff, and provide employee orientation.\nOther duties as required.\nOUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;\nHigh school diploma required.
