People like you!\nJob Description\nRole: Salesforce Senior Developer\nJob Summary:\nThe HSS Digital Transformation Team is seeking a passionate, curious, and detail-oriented Salesforce Senior Developer to join our growing Information Technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions using Apex, Aura, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools.\nWorking closely with product owners, architects, developers, and business stakeholders, the Salesforce Senior Developer will provide technical leadership, translate business requirements into effective solutions, and ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices.\nThis role offers the opportunity to work across multiple Salesforce products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Account Engagement, Marketing Cloud, and Agentforce.\nBenefits\nHealth Insurance (includes Virtual Health, and HCSA)\nDental Insurance\nVision Insurance\nLife Insurance\nLong-term Disability\nShort-term Disability\nRRSP Match\nPaid Vacation\nFloating Days\nEmployee Assistance Program\nEmployee Engagement Events\nAwards and Recognition\nTuition Reimbursement\nService Awards\nEmployee Perks & Discounts\nJob Responsibilities\nServe as a technical team lead within the Salesforce development team, providing technical guidance and supporting the delivery of Salesforce solutions.\nDesign, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, and Visualforce.\nCustomize standard Salesforce objects and develop custom objects, fields, workflows, and process automations.\nCollaborate with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.\nParticipate in the design, development, and implementation of integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.\nWork with cross-functional teams to support seamless integration between Salesforce and other enterprise applications.\nPerform unit testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and defect resolution to maintain application performance and reliability.\nExecute deployment activities using CI/CD tools and established DevOps processes.\nEnsure adherence to Salesforce development best practices, coding standards, security requirements, and governance policies.\nPrepare and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, user stories, and system specifications.\nProvide ongoing Salesforce administration and support, including user setup, object and data model updates, and process automation.\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate Salesforce developers.\nSupport the onboarding of new developers by providing guidance on application architecture, development standards, and team processes.\nProvide Level 3 technical support for ongoing Salesforce operations, including investigation and resolution of complex technical issues.\nPerform additional duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nMinimum 8 years of hands-on experience in IT development, including at least 5 years of Salesforce programmatic development experience.\nStrong hands-on development experience with Apex (classes, triggers, and batch jobs), Aura, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.\nExperience developing and supporting Salesforce applications using declarative tools and automation capabilities.\nExperience using AI-assisted development tools to support software development activities.\nHands-on experience with Conga Composer.\nStrong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits.\nExperience designing and implementing Salesforce integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and Platform Events.\nProficiency in SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce configuration tools.\nExperience with Salesforce deployment and DevOps tools, including Copado, GitHub, Bitbucket, or equivalent platforms.\nSalesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II certification preferred.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nDemonstrated ability to provide technical guidance and collaborate effectively with developers and cross-functional teams.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.\nBenefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
