People like you!\nJob Description\nPosition Overview:\nReporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the successful candidate will maintain production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and equipment. \nKey Responsibilities:\nSafely operate a sit down counter balance forklift while maintaining a valid forklift certification\nMust be comfortable working outside in the elements\nCommunicate with drivers to ensure the accuracy of the load as well as safety requirements for loading/unloading materials\nIdentify where product is located in the yard and in the warehouse by utilizing the FIFO system.\nLoad/unload trucks\nPick and sort stock using a forklift ensuring minimal errors\nAssist with inventory counts as required\nGuide truck drivers where they need to go in order to safely loaded/unloaded\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED\nMust have valid forklift certification class 1 license\nMust be able to read a pick list\nMust be able to work overtime as necessary, including weekends\nMust be able to pass a fit for duty Physical\n2 years forklift experience\nPrevious experience with materials handling & distribution warehouses preferred\nAble to work independently as well as part of a team\nGood organizational, time management and prioritizing skills\nStrong work ethic and positive team attitude\nThis is a full time non-unionized\nSchedule: Sunday - Friday, 8:00pm - 4:30am\nRate: $29.46\nBenefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
