Leads safety and housekeeping efforts and corrective actions within department, assigned projects, and areas with goal of zero incidents. Exemplifies safety in all actions and leads by example.\n\nDesigning electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, wiring, and instrumentation, to support processes.\n\nDesigning, developing, and fine tune PID Control algorithms for complex electrical systems.\n\nCreating electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts using computer-aided design (CAD) software.\n\nSpecifying components, material, and equipment required for electrical systems.\n\nIntegrating electrical systems with manufacturing equipment and machinery.\n\nCollaborating with mechanical engineers and technicians to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical components.\n\nEnsuring equipment meets safety and regulatory standards.\n\nDeveloping and implement automation solutions, such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity.\n\nPrograming and troubleshoot control systems for automated processes.\n\nOUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), with the abilityto effectively workwith others in a teamenvironment.\n\nStrong attention to detailand accuracy.\n\nAbility to develop and manage a budgetary control process for areas of responsibility.\n\nAnalytical, data-driven problem solving and action planning skills.\n\nAbility to make independent and well thought out decisions.\n\nOrganized, self-starter, results oriented, unique problem solver.\n\nKnowledge of industry standards, electrical codes, regulations, and safety protocols\n\nProficiency in CAD software, engineering analysis tools, and simulation software.\n\nProficiency in electrical design software, PLC programming, and SCADA systems.\n\nA Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and at least six (6) years’ experience in a manufacturing facility.\n\nBenefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
