Assist Restaurant Manager in providing direction and leadership to the team so that superior guest service is provided. Support and communicate clearly and effectively with team members and guests.\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:\nPromotes superior guest service.\nMaintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.\nHire, train, coach, schedule, assign duties to, and support restaurant team.\nDirect the work of team members, assess performance, provide feedback, and administer discipline.\nDirect staff to maintain cleanliness in all areas of restaurant and around perimeter.\nDocument and administer all discounts, voids, comps, and transactions.\nCommunicate with other front of the house (FOH) and back of the house managers (BOH) daily or as needed to review operations.\nEnsure that all company policies are adhered to and maintained.\nEnsure that all accounting, financial, and reporting functions are current and accurate, including regular participation in planning and controlling the budget.\nDevelop and enforce departmental policies and procedures to ensure safe and sanitary food practices, as well as team member safety and security, including compliance with all Health Department regulations and company safety and health policies as they relate to BOH and FOH operations.\nAssist in the development of menus, POS updates, POS maintenance, printing, and facility needs.\nManage beverage inventory and order beverage items as needed.\nMaintain organized and managed FOH inventory.\nWrite and route daily shift reports.\nReview and maintain accurate FOH Kronos timekeeping punches for all FOH staff.\nMaintain confidentiality of sensitive information.\nOther duties as assigned.\n Minimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).\nThree (3) years’ supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant.\nMust possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.\nProven and proficient positive leadership skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nPrevious experience in MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook computer programs.\nTwo (2) years’ Toast, Micros, or similar POS experience.\nFlexible schedule including late nights, weekends, early mornings, and all holidays and department “blackout/high volume” days.\nAbility to lift 50 lb.\nStrong wine, beer, cocktail, and food knowledge.\nStrong financial accountability skills.\nWilling to work in a smoking environment.\nAbility to be on your feet for up to 10-hour shifts.\nAbility to acquire Food Workers Card & MAST permit.\nMust be willing to work in a smoking environment.\nMust be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures\nWork Shift:\nSwing (United States of America)Wages:\nThis role offers a starting wage of $51,480.00 annually.
