Ambition, dedication, attention to detail, and a warm smile are all winning characteristics that lead to the spirit of who we are.\nPosition Summary:\nThis position is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the hotel guest rooms.\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:\nPromotes superior guest service.\nMaintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.\nResponsible for making beds, cleaning bathrooms and floors, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing of fresh linens and amenities.\nArranges all toiletries and bedroom amenities to pre-set standards.\nMaintains assigned cleaning equipment and tools.\nKeeps carts, linen racks, and equipment neat and orderly.\nReports uncommon conditions, maintenance problems and repairs to a Housekeeping Supervisor.\nFollows established chemical and key control usage and procedures.\nMaintains cleanliness and supply inventory in storage areas.\nAssists with recycling efforts.\nPerforms other projects as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMust possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.\nPrevious cleaning experience or the ability to use cleaning equipment and supplies.\nMust be able to communicate effectively in English.\nAbility to learn the appropriate hotel operating systems.\nAbility to maintain an average room inspection score of 90% or higher.\nAbility to complete a twelve-credit or more quota within an eight-hour shift.\nCleans guest rooms and maintains cleaning equipment according to department standards.\nWillingness to gain knowledge of regulatory safety practices on MSDS, OSHA regulations, Hazardous Communication and Blood borne pathogens.\nMust be able to stand for long periods of time with frequent reaching, lifting, and bending.\nMust be able to lift up to 25 lbs.\nMust be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.\nMust maintain highest level of privacy and confidentiality.\nMust possess the ability to appropriately manage stressful situations.\nMust be willing to work in a smoking environment.\nMust be willing to adhere to company safety measures.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nHousekeeping experience in a 3-4 Diamond hotel preferred.\nWork Shift:\nAny (United States of America)Wages:\nThis role offers a starting wage of $17.65 per hour.
