Executes and records transactions such as but not limited to; chip redemption, slot vouchers and cashing negotiable transactions in support of Gaming operations. Enrolls and services guest with Player Rewards program.\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:\nPromotes superior guest service.\nMaintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.\nAdheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures.\nConsistently interacts with guests, encouraging membership in Rewards card program, rewarding patrons for play and effectively handling questions/problems. \nDistributes monies to guests via slot ticket redemption, chip redemption, and check cashing.\nProcesses monetary transactions for other departments.\nEnsures that all transactions are completed in an efficient and accurate manner.\nResponsible for securing the integrity of assigned assets.\nMaintains the accountability of company funds in accordance with Internal Controls and Gaming Commission Rules and Regulations. \nWhen working as the Chip Banker, he/she is responsible for the accountability of the chips in the Casino.\nThe Chip Bank will receive and process chip transfers to and from other banks and windows.\nThis bank will also receive table credits and issue table fills to the pits.\nHandles large amounts of money and maintains accountability over assigned bank.\nProtects and preserves the main bank assets including accounting for, documenting, and verifying the accuracy of all incoming and outgoing currency, coin, tokens, chips, cash, etc.\nVerifies the daily drops for the count room.\nMaintains cage equipment.\nRuns necessary reports to balance.\nCompletes all necessary paperwork according to procedure.\nMaintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned. \nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).\nMust possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.\nBasic computer input skills.\nAbility to stand for extended periods of time\nOrganizational skills are required as well as strong written and verbal skills.\nMust be capable of interacting with the public in a professional and positive manner.\nMust be able to work in a fast-paced and often crowded/noisy environment.\nMust be able to lift 20lbs.\nMust be able to work various shifts and flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.\nMust be willing to work in a smoking environment.\nMust be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrevious money handling experience preferred.\nWork Shift:\nSwing (United States of America)Wages:\nThis role offers a starting wage of $17.65 per hour.
