Responsible for the appearance of operation each day (prior, during, and post-closing). Meets and exceeds all standards for operations. Provide an ongoing daily presence in the operation, interacting with guests, FOH and BOH staff and peer managers.\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:\nPromotes superior guest service.\nMaintains and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.\nAssures cleanliness in all areas of restaurant and around perimeter.\nDocument and administer all discounts, voids, comps, and transactions.\nLeads, directs, and manages all FOH staff as it relates to hiring, discipline, training, and coaching.\nCommunicate with other FOH and BOH managers daily as needed to review all parts of the business operation.\nEnsure that all company policies are adhered to and maintained.\nProvide top leadership regarding representing the brand to guests.\nEnsure that all personnel matters and documentation are professionally handled and coordinated with the Restaurant Manager and HR.\nEnsure safe and sanitary food practices, including compliance with all Health Department regulations as it relates to BOH and FOH operations. \nOrder beverage items as needed and directed by the Restaurant Manager (s) and Restaurant Operations Manager.\nWrite shift reports after every shift accurately and fully detailing all restaurant business as outlined by the Restaurant Operations Manager and email said reports to the Restaurant Management Team, Director of Food & Beverage, and ilani Assistant General Manager.\nAttend all necessary management meetings.\nReview and maintain accurate FOH Kronos timekeeping punches for all FOH staff.\nMaintains confidentiality of sensitive information.\nAny other duties as requested by the Restaurant Manager and/or Assistant Manager(s).\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).\nThree (3) years supervisory experience in a high-volume style restaurant.\nTwo (2) years’ Toast, Micros, or similar POS experience.\nMust possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.\nExperience with MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook.\nFlexible schedule including late nights, weekends, early mornings, and all holidays and department “blackout/high volume” days.\nAbility to lift 50 lb.\nStrong wine, beer, cocktail, and food knowledge.\nProven and proficient positive leadership skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong financial accountability skills.\nAvailable 40-50 hours per week depending on business need and flow.\nAbility to be on your feet for up to 10-hour shifts.\nMust be willing to work in a smoking environment.\nMust be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.\nWork Shift:\nAny (United States of America)Wages:\nThis role offers a starting wage of $22.33 per hour.
