This role requires a proactive and culturally respectful approach to recruiting that supports the long-term success and sustainability of the business and the tribal community it serves. The ideal candidate will possess strong networking, communication, and organizational skills, and demonstrate a commitment to tribal sovereignty and workforce development.\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:\nPromotes superior guest service\nMaintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.\nResponsible for gathering qualified applicants that adhere to the ilani culture.\nReviews applications and determines the applicant’s qualifications and suitability for employment. \nMaintains records and prepares statistical reports concerning recruitment, interviews, hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.\nSchedules and conduct pre-screening interviews with candidates on a daily basis as well as managing Human Resource Management through Workday.\nMaintains friendly and professional interactions with all applicants, team members, hiring managers, and completing all appropriate documentation and follow-up with candidates for employment.\nConfers with managers and supervisors to ensure that all hiring and employment practices comply with tribal, appropriate state, and federal laws.\nEnsures accurate tracking and record keeping in compliance with tribal, appropriate state, and federal guidelines. \nIn alignment with developing dedicated and passionate team members you will accurately track and execute on internal transfer, as well as referrals to Career Development.\nManage the referral of candidates to the licensing portal process and ensure compliance with state and tribal gaming regulatory requirements.\nCollaborate with HR team on onboarding and workforce planning initiatives.\nDevelop and maintain recruitment sourcing partners and attend approved community hiring events. Tracks ROI for each event.\nMaintain confidentiality of sensitive information. \nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nAssociate degree plus a certification in Human Resources, and two (2) years of experience in recruitment and interviewing and knowledge of employment laws, or an equivalent combination of education and recruiting experience. \nMust possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.\nStrong knowledge of recruitment strategies, interview techniques, and sourcing tools.\nAbility to work with diverse populations and demonstrate cultural competence.\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills.\nMust have a “can do” approach and be able to recruit similar attitudes.\nIntermediate Microsoft Office skills.\nAbility to learn HRM and ATS systems (specifically Workday).\nMust be willing to work in a smoking environment.\nMust be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus.\nWorkday experience preferred.\nShift: Monday - Friday, 11:00am - 7:00pm\nWork Shift:\nWages:\nThis role offers a starting wage of $25.01 per hour.
