The role demands strong expertise in BI platforms, data modelling, data integration, and performance optimisation, along with the ability to lead design discussions and collaborate with business and IT stakeholders.\n\nThe candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions: \n\nArchitecture and Solution Design: \nDefine end-to-end BI architecture, standards, and best practices.\nDesign enterprise BI/analytics platforms, semantic models, and reporting frameworks.\nArchitect scalable solutions across Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Semantic Layers.\nEnsure architecture alignment with enterprise roadmap and cloud strategy.\nEvaluate tools, define technology stack, and govern design patterns.\n\nData Modelling and Engineering: \nLead Dimensional Modelling, Star/Snowflake schemas, semantic model design.\nDefine data ingestion, transformation, aggregation strategies.\nOptimise data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.\nEstablish metadata management and data lineage standards.\n\nPlatform and Tool Expertise: \nArchitect and implement BI platforms (Power BI / Tableau / Qlik / Looker).\nEstablish governance models, workspace strategies, access control, and security frameworks.\nDefine self-service BI strategy and enablement.\n\nPerformance, Quality and Governance: \nEnsure high availability, performance optimisation, and query tuning.\nDefine security, access control, row-level and object-level security.\nGovern solution quality through standards and best practices.\nEnsure compliance with data governance and security policies.\n\nStakeholder and Leadership: \nWork with business stakeholders to translate analytical needs into systems.\nCollaborate with Data Engineering, Cloud, and Application teams.\nLead BI technical teams, review designs, mentor developers.\nParticipate in estimation, planning, and roadmap development.\n\nRequirements: \n10+ years in Data/Analytics with 5+ years in BI architecture.\nStrong experience with o Power BI / Tableau / Qlik / Looker o Enterprise Data Warehousing o Semantic Models / Tabular Models.\nExpertise in Dimensional Modelling, Kimball/Inmon methodologies, Data & Integration.\nSQL expertise.\nExperience with ETL / ELT tools (ADF, SSIS, Informatica, Talend, etc. )\nKnowledge of Cloud Data Platforms: o Azure Synapse / Fabric o AWS Redshift o GCP BigQuery.\nExperience with Data Lakes & Lakehouse concepts, Platform & Governance.\nBI performance tuning.\nSecurity implementation.\nData governance alignment.\nDashboard & reporting standards.\n\nNice to Have: \nCloud certifications (Azure / AWS / GCP).\nExperience with advanced analytics enablement.\nExperience in enterprise-scale global environments.\nExperience with GenAI-driven analytics insights (optional).\n\nSkills Summary -
