Your responsibilities include defining and executing preventive maintenance on optical, mechanical, electrical, and fluidics systems to enhance equipment uptime and reliability. You will also deliver training to Technicians and Engineer I team members to improve their understanding of job roles and expectations. Additionally, you will supervise and mentor these team members to ensure consistent performance and ongoing development.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nComplete required training (e.g. cGMP, safety and work instructions, etc.) within a stipulated time frame.\n\nExecute tasks strictly following cGMP, Quality, Safety and Work instruction requirements.\n\nEnsure employees follow safety, quality requirement, and all applicable company policies at all times.\n\nEnsure proper housekeeping and maintain cleanliness (6S) of the working area.\n\nTimely report/ escalate any concerns (work-related or personal).\n\nMeet daily production schedule and performance expectation.\n\nAble to take on additional tasks or responsibilities when required.\n\nCompetent to perform preventive maintenance activities with broad supervision.\n\nImplement repair procedures to ensure correct operation of equipment and systems with broad supervision.\n\nIdentify and update critical spare parts in SAP to ensure continuous operation and maintain appropriate safety stock levels.\n\nImprovement work:\nParticipate and lead improvement initiatives across areas under some direction.\n\nFacilitate an organization's systems and processes relating to continuous improvement (e.g. 6S) and coach team members toward continuous improvement.\n\nAnalyse work practices beyond own scope of work for innovation and improvement opportunities with some supervision\n\nManage the work instructions of each Equipment maintenance process to ensure consistent performance of the equipment.\n\nIncident investigation and reporting:\nLead an investigation team and able to submit a formal report under broad supervision.\n\nProvide guidance to team members.\n\nAdapt different techniques and concepts in technical writing for effective engagement with individuals and/or teams.\n\nLead and mentor a group of team members to meet production KPI and corporate goals & targets:\nAssist and provide technical support to the shift to meet daily production target and shift KPIs with some guidance.\n\nCo-ordinate & prioritize activities based on production, equipment and supply to meet the objectives.\n\nLearning and Development:\nResponsible for the skill development of the shift.\n\nAble to provide guidance to Technician and Engineer on PLC and automation equipment troubleshooting.\n\nDevelop On the job (OJT) training programmes for Technician.\n\nDemonstrates proficiency in performing repair and preventive maintenance on complex smart manufacturing equipment and in developing effective solutions for recurring equipment problems.\n\nImplement improvements to the existing equipment maintenance processes with some supervision.\n\nIdentify opportunities to automate manual processes and develop solutions together with automation experts to improve product quality, cycle time, and cost.\n\nData Collection and Analysis:\nTransforms simple operational data into meaningful insights that inform decisions aimed at improving equipment efficiency and operational performance.\n\nBe a role model for Technicians and Junior Engineers.\n\nListed responsibilities are an essential, but not exhaustive list, of the usual duties associated with the position. Changes to individual responsibilities may occur due to business needs.\nPosition Requirements:\nAdvanced understanding on Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Pneumatic.\nEnsure compliance with cGMP, Quality, work safety instructions & practices at all times.\nGood project management skills.\nExperience in designing automatic control system.\nExperience in troubleshooting PLC (e.g. Beckhoff or Allen Bradley PLC) and HMI process control automation system.\nExperience in engineering drawings.\nComplete tasks in a safe and efficient manner.\nHigh level of discipline and integrity.\nAble to undertake multiple tasks.\nAble to undergo job rotation/ cross training.\nAble to work in noisy environment with appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE).\nAble to work in chemical environment with appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE).\nMust be able to identify different colors for work purposes.
