Working within an Agile development environment, this individual collaborates closely with software engineers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to identify defects, validate requirements, and drive continuous quality improvements throughout the software development lifecycle.\nThis role is expected to leverage AI-assisted development and testing tools to enhance productivity, improve test coverage, accelerate defect detection, and continuously optimise software quality processes. The successful candidate will demonstrate a quality-first mindset while embracing emerging technologies and modern engineering practices.\nScope of Responsibilities\nDevelop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases based on product requirements and design specifications.\nDesign and implement test automation frameworks and testing tools to improve test coverage and efficiency.\nLeverage AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate test case creation, automate repetitive testing activities, improve defect analysis, and increase testing effectiveness.\nEvaluate and incorporate AI-based testing techniques and tools to improve product quality, testing efficiency, and engineering productivity.\nPerform functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing.\nIdentify, document, track, and verify software defects through resolution.\nCollaborate with software developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure testability.\nParticipate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.\nContribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes by integrating automated testing into development pipelines.\nAnalyse test results, prepare test reports, and communicate quality metrics to project stakeholders.\nEnsure compliance with established quality standards, testing methodologies, and engineering best practices.\nSupport investigation and validation of customer-reported issues and production incidents when required.\nContinuously evaluate and recommend improvements to testing processes, tools, and frameworks.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.\nTypically 2-5 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or software engineering.\nExperience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and test automation solutions.\nExperience testing cloud-based, web, desktop, or distributed software systems.\nFamiliarity with programming or scripting languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.\nExperience with testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent.\nExperience leveraging AI-assisted development or testing tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, AI-powered testing platforms) to improve engineering efficiency and software quality.\nKnowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD practices.\nFamiliarity with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, or equivalent.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nEffective communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with API testing using Postman, or equivalent tools.\nExperience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.\nExperience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).\nKnowledge of performance, security, or load testing methodologies.\nExperience working in regulated environments or software products requiring validation and compliance testing.\nWe are a company deeply rooted in belonging, promoting an inclusive environment where employees feel valued and empowered to contribute to our mission.
