Come join us on this journey to create a brighter, more sustainable future in the Columbus area.\nWe are currently looking for a Systems Engineer for our new factory in Columbus, Ohio. The Systems Engineer is essential for maintaining and modifying the IT operating environment to meet both factory and management specifications. This role will be responsible for the administration of IT systems, including installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and documentation.\nResponsibilities:\nPerform installation, implementation, and maintenance of operating systems, software packages, database management, and data communication packages in a multi-user distributed server environment.\nParticipate in teams to evaluate, test, and install enterprise systems.\nProvide technical assistance to persons designing and implementing enterprise server hardware/software systems such as operating/database management/data communications systems.\nAssist server operations and support personnel, as well as vendor hardware/software specialists, in isolating and resolving hardware and software problems.\nMonitor the performance of server systems to identify, correct, and improve operational efficiency through changes to the software packages or reconfiguration of hardware.\nPerform system implementations, participating in the planning, requirements gathering, and process review phases. Work closely with Senior Systems Engineer on system configuration, testing, and data importation.\nDevelop comprehensive build, operation, and recovery manuals and guidelines.\nParticipate in annual Disaster Recovery exercises by leading recovery efforts for the area of responsibility. Assist other teams in their recovery processes as required.\nComply with cybersecurity policies, standards, and processes in accordance with the Cybersecurity Plan.\nPerform other duties as assigned, reflecting the dynamic nature of system operations within a manufacturing environment.\nQualifications Required:\nA bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n3 to 6 years of experience in system operations or a related technical field.\nWorking knowledge of infrastructure architectures, including physical and virtual servers, storage devices, backup/recovery environments, disaster recovery ideologies and implementation, and networking stack for communications.\nExperience working with Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) hybrid, and Microsoft Azure.\nExperience with administration of Linux, Oracle Databases, Veritas NetBackup, EMC SAN, and VMware.\nSound working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Teams, Intune, Defender products, and OneDrive.\nQualifications Preferred:\nUnderstanding of Azure services, configuration, implementation, and migration.\nMCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) Certification.\nVMware Certified Professional.\nVeritas Certified Professional.\nAt Illuminate USA, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
