Our team utilizes their expertise and ingenuity to create innovative original concepts or provide creative solutions to existing high-performance designs.\nSummary:\nThe Inventory & Logistics Associate plays a critical, high-impact role in our supply chain, managing the life cycle of parts from receipt to final destination. This unique position balances specialized desktop inventory transactions using Epicor ERP with hands-on physical warehouse operations, forklift material handling, and regional logistics driving. The ideal candidate switches seamlessly between managing internal parts movement/ inventory transactions and executing physical freight movements.\nNuts & Bolts:\nLocation: Plymouth, MI\nSchedule: M - F, Day Shift\nUniforms: Provided\nCompany celebrations, Family events, and BBQs!\nStatus: Direct Hire\nEssential Duties\nInventory Integrity: Execute and monitor real-time inventory transactions (shipping, receiving, parts movements) within Epicor ERP to maintain inventory accuracy.\nCycle Counting & Auditing: Conduct daily inventory cycle counts, evaluate on-hand balances, and proactively investigate any variances thoroughly. \nDiscrepancy Investigation: Apply root-cause analysis to investigate and reconcile inventory variances, implementing preventive logic to resolve errors.\nConsumables Management: Maintain stock for production consumables (gloves, lubricants, zip ties, etc.) to eliminate shop shortages.\nParts Picking: Complete parts-picking ordered by the Build Shop, confirming proper transaction in the system (Epicor).\nExtended Logistics Driving: Securely load, transport, and deliver essential cargo, engines, parts, and materials to and from customers and vendors/suppliers within a regional 300-mile radius.\nSafety Operations: Safely operate, inspect, prep, and maintain company delivery/movement assets (cargo vans, box truck, forklifts) in strict compliance with OSHA/DOT safety regulations. \nIndustrial Material Handling: Safely operate heavy machinery (forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks) to move, stack, retrieve, and high-rack heavy parts.\nFreight Movement: Safely and efficiently load and unload incoming and outgoing freight carriers, commercial flatbeds, and internal delivery vehicles.\nOrganization: Enforce meticulous organization, 5S standards, and general safety protocols inside the Stock Room, Truck Bay, Truck Pad, and Loading Dock environments.\nInbound Receiving Duties: Inspect, cross-reference, log, and sort incoming parts and raw materials against supplier manifests/packing slips and purchase orders.\nOutbound Shipping Preparation: Pack, safely secure, crate, label, and create proper documentation for outbound small parcel and LTL shipments. \nEducation and Experience:\nEducation: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.\nExperience: 2+ years of Warehouse/Logistics, Shipping and Receiving, and Inventory Control experience\nDriving Credentials: Valid driver's license with an unblemished record. Chauffeur's License and DOT physical required (or mandatory completion within 30 days of hire).\nForklift Certification: Valid industrial forklift operator license or verified historical certification.
