Our mission is to make everyday life easier with a diverse range of safe and sustainable products for individual buildings and large real estate complexes.\nWe are now looking for a skilled Performance Test Engineer to join our R&D team in Oulu, Finland.\nWhat you'll do\nIn this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the scalability, reliability and performance of iLOQ services by designing, developing and executing performance tests for backend systems and APIs. You will work closely with software developers, architects and product owners to identify performance bottlenecks, analyze system behavior under load and support the delivery of robust, high-performing solutions.\nIn this role you will:\nDesign, develop and maintain performance testing solutions for backend services and APIs\n\nPlan, create and execute load, stress, endurance and scalability tests\n\nAnalyze performance test results and identify bottlenecks in applications, databases and infrastructure\n\nCollaborate with software developers and architects to optimize system performance and reliability\n\nMonitor system behavior during test execution and support root cause analysis\n\nDevelop and maintain performance testing frameworks, environments and test assets\n\nProduce performance reports and provide recommendations for improvements\n\nSupport performance-related activities throughout the software development lifecycle\n\nContribute to continuous improvement of products, working methods, tools and quality practices together with the team\n\nWhat you'll bring\nRelevant technical degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)\n\nExperience in software performance testing, load testing or non-functional testing\n\nExperience testing backend systems, APIs and distributed services\n\nUnderstanding of performance metrics such as response times, throughput, resource utilization and scalability\n\nExperience with performance testing tools such as Locust\n\nPython programming skills are considered an advantage\n\nExperience analyzing logs, monitoring data and system metrics\n\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS\n\nStrong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail\n\nGood communication and collaboration skills\n\nFluency in English, both written and spoken\n\nWhat you'll get\nWe offer you a workplace within a collaborative and forward-thinking company culture.
