You will design, develop and maintain the secure, reliable and scalable backend services at the core of iLOQ 5 Series+. This is a role for an experienced software professional who enjoys solving complex problems, takes ownership beyond writing code and wants to influence both technical solutions and the way software is developed.\nWhat you'll do\nAs a Senior Backend Developer, you will work as part of a cross-functional software team and contribute throughout the software lifecycle.\nYou will:\nDesign, develop, test and maintain reliable, scalable backend services and APIs for our cloud-based platform\n\nTake end-to-end ownership of services from design and implementation to release, monitoring and continuous improvement\n\nTranslate functional and non-functional requirements into practical technical solutions\n\nExplore and apply AI-assisted development tools in a secure and responsible way\n\nReview code and develop automated tests, supporting high standards for security, quality and maintainability, and contributing to efficient CI/CD practices\n\nInvestigate and resolve complex technical issues\n\nContribute to the modernization and continuous development of our software architecture\n\nCollaborating with Product Owners, Software Architects, Test Engineers and other stakeholders, share knowledge and support the development of colleagues\n\nWhat you'll bring\nTo succeed in this role, we expect you to have:\nRelevant degree (Bachelor or Master)\n\nSeveral years of professional experience in backend software development, including designing and implementing APIs and backend services\n\nStrong skills in C# and .NET or comparable backend technologies\n\nExperience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS, and a solid understanding of microservice architectures and distributed systems\n\nExperience working with relational databases and data-driven applications\n\nFamiliarity with automated testing, CI/CD and modern software development practices\n\nAn understanding of software security, maintainability and operational reliability\n\nThe ability to analyze complex problems and turn them into clear, sustainable solutions\n\nA proactive and collaborative working style with strong communication skills, including professional written and spoken English\n\nWe consider experience in the following areas an advantage:\nAWS services and cloud-native application development\n\nEvent-driven architectures and asynchronous communication\n\nService monitoring, logging and observability\n\nSecure software development or access management solutions\n\nHigh-availability or business-critical systems\n\nWorking with software solutions that interact with physical products or devices\n\nWhat you'll get\nYou will build products that end up in buildings all over the world and ease the everyday lives of our customers.
