If you want to do the best work of your career in legal tech, we’d love to build with you.\nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to lead the design and implementation of ProVision’s user interface. You’ll own the client-side experience end-to-end - crafting performant, elegant, and maintainable React applications that empower lawyers and fund managers to work more efficiently.The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Backend Engineers from decomposition through delivery, building highly usable, accessible, and responsive UI that meets enterprise standards. They will share ownership of the agreements with the back-end - helping define them upfront and making sure they hold up all the way to delivery.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nBuild and maintain complex React 18 applications using TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, Ant Design, and Vite.\nTranslate product and UX designs into pixel-perfect, performant front-end components.\nIntegrate REST APIs and WebSockets for dynamic data interactions with the Django backend.\nDrive UI/UX consistency, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser performance.\nImplement robust front-end testing (Jest/Vitest, React Testing Library, Storybook).\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with backend and QA teams.\nContribute to front-end architecture decisions, component libraries, and developer tooling.\nConduct code reviews, promote clean coding standards, and mentor junior developers.\nWork with the back-end team and the FE Tech Lead from the decomposition stage: shape the agreements, split epics into deliverable front-end slices, and surface integration risks at refinement rather than at code review.\nMust-Have Requirements\n7+ years of proven experience as a Front-End or Full-Stack Developer in a modern SaaS environment.\nDeep expertise in React 18, TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, RTK Query, Vite, and Ant Design.\nStrong understanding of state management, asynchronous data flows, and modern UI patterns.\nExperience integrating RESTful APIs and WebSocket endpoints.\nProficiency in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery.\nStrong debugging and performance optimisation skills for large-scale React apps.\nEnglish at B2+ level, sufficient for daily communication with the team.\nPreferred Requirements\nFamiliarity with Python/Django backends and REST API design.\nExperience with Storybook, ESLint, Prettier, and front-end build optimisation.\nExposure to AWS CloudFront, S3, and CI/CD deployment workflows.\nUnderstanding of authentication (JWT/OAuth2) and role-based access patterns.\nKnowledge of data-rich interfaces and document-centric UIs (tables, nested forms, editors).\nPersonal Attributes\nDetail-oriented engineer with a passion for exceptional UX.\nCollaborative team player comfortable in multi-disciplinary Agile teams.\nProactive and resourceful problem-solver.\nCommitted to quality, scalability, and continuous improvement.\nCommunicates early and in writing - raises contract and scope questions at refinement, not after the code is written.\nHow We Work\nWe work in Scrum, with several development teams working on the same platform.\nAll requirements are well described by QA and BA in Jira/Confluence.\nDevelopment is highly supported by AI tooling with mandatory human review.\nThe architect supports architectural decisions and oversees system consistency.\nManual and automated QA to ensure regression is not introduced.\nMultitenant, scheduled releases, handled by the Delivery team.\nFront-end and back-end work as separate teams, but against one shared agreement.\nEqual Opportunities\nILS is committed to providing an inclusive and fair recruitment process.
