This role helps ensure the accuracy of financial information and provides analytical support for business decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Accounting, Accounts Receivable, and operational teams to maintain reporting integrity and support ongoing financial processes.\nJob Duties:\nThe duties of this position include, but are not limited to:\nPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, performance metrics, and KPIs. \nPerform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year results, identifying key financial and operational drivers. \nSupport the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles. \nDevelop, maintain, and improve financial models, reports, dashboards, and planning tools. \nAnalyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and business trends, providing actionable insights and recommendations. \nPartner with business leaders to support financial planning, performance management, and decision-making. \nExtract, validate, and analyze financial and operational data from ERP and reporting systems. \nDevelop and maintain Power BI dashboards and management reporting solutions. \nSupport reporting automation, process improvements, and data accuracy initiatives. \nAssist with month-end and year-end activities, including reporting and analysis requirements. \nSupport strategic planning through scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and business case evaluations. \nPrepare ad hoc analyses and participate in special projects as required.\nEssential Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:\nAnalytical skills with a knack for numbers \nUnderstanding of accounting principles \nProven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records \nHands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (Net Suites Oracle) \nHigh Proficiency in English and in MS Office, including Power Bi and Power Query. \nHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detail \nEducation and Experience Required:\nSuccessful completion of post-secondary education preferably in bookkeeping, accounting or related field or Completion of two years (first level) of a recognized professional accounting program (ex. Chartered Accounting, Certified General Accounting) or equivalent working experience \n2-4 years of accounting experience is required \nCompensation and Benefits:\nCompensation: $70,000 per annum \nComprehensive health benefits through SunLife, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), as well as participation in the company’s RRSP matching program.
