problems.\n\n Frame use cases into model-ready formats.\n\n Perform initial feasibility assessments.\n\nData Preparation:\n\n Extract, clean, and prepare data.\n\n Conduct exploratory data analysis.\n\n Engineer relevant features.\n\nModel Development:\n\n Build machine learning/statistical models.\n\n Train and tune models using appropriate metrics.\n\n Evaluate performance and robustness.\n\nInsight Communication:\n\n Visualize and interpret results.\n\n Translate findings into business language.\n\n Support adoption and stakeholder understanding.\n\nDeployment and Monitoring:\n\n Package models for deployment (API, batch, etc.)\n\n Monitor performance and drift.\n\n Maintain logs and feedback loops.\n\nCollaboration and Learning:\n\n Participate in peer reviews and team learning.\n\n Stay updated on new tools/techniques.\n\n Contribute to knowledge sharing.\n\nAcademic Qualifications:\n\n Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.\n\nProfessional Qualifications / Membership to professional bodies/ Publication: \n\n Practical ML certifications (e.g. Coursera, Udacity, DataCamp).\n\n Python, R, or SQL proficiency certifications.\n\n Cloud ML certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus.\n\nWork Experience Required:\n\n 2–5 years in data science, machine learning, or predictive modeling roles.\n\nKey Competencies:\n\n Statistical & Machine Learning Knowledge: applies predictive modeling, classification, clustering, and other techniques to solve real problems.\n\n Programming Proficiency: proficient in Python, R, and SQL, with hands-on experience using data science libraries and frameworks.\n\n Data Wrangling & Feature Engineering: transforms raw data into meaningful inputs for models through cleaning, joining, and deriving features.\n\n Curiosity & Innovation: constantly seeks new methods, algorithms, and technologies to improve performance\n\n Model Deployment & Monitoring: Familiar with putting models into production, versioning, and tracking performance over time.\n\n Communication of Insights: translates complex analysis into clear, actionable insights tailored to the business audience.\n\n Collaboration & Teamwork: works effectively with analysts, engineers, and business teams to drive outcomes.\n\n Adaptability: quickly learns new tools and adjusts to changing priorities or
