Associates in this role are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws.\nESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: include but are not limited to:\nSupports and demonstrates IMA’s core values.\nValues and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates.\nComfortable with a high degree of oversight and accountability for the quality and efficiency of work product.\nInteract professionally and timely with clients via email, phone, and in person.\nProvide support to claim advocates and service teams in claim-related matters.\nCommunicate pertinent claim information on a timely basis to internal and external clients.\nDevelop a strong working knowledge of Applied Epic and carrier interface systems.\nDemonstrate technical insurance knowledge.\nAssist with claims projects, reports, loss runs, and other tasks as assigned.\nSpecific job responsibilities include:Responding to reception desk claim inquiries.\nProcessing claim faxes received by the office.\nClaim reporting for direct reporting exceptions.\nHandling house account claim inquiries.\nProviding claim status updates.\nManaging the distribution of Claim Reporting Guides.\nMonitoring and prioritizing workload while considering deadlines and special instructions, with strong attention to detail.\n\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:\nInclude but are not limited to:\nStrong communication and basic mathematical skills.\nAbility to identify issues and develop resolutions when speaking with clients.\nAbility to manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls while providing professional, responsive customer service.\nComfort spending a significant portion of the day on the phone assisting clients, carriers, and internal team members.\nStrong verbal communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build rapport over the phone.\n1 to 3 years of similar or related experience preferred.\nExperience with Applied Epic and carrier websites preferred.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nPrior claims experience preferred, or experience coordinating claims and general insurance activities.\nCOMPETENCIES & TRAITS\nRelationship Building\nSelf-Direction\nClient Relationship Management\nProblem Solving\nCommunication\nSalary Range\n$45,000—$55,000 USD\nCompensation & Benefits\nBeing a part of IMA has its benefits.
