Frontend Engineer

We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer to build and scale a large, customer-facing online learning platform. You will work across the full development lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy features across a large-scale web application.
• Contribute to system design and architecture as technical expertise grows.
• Collaborate in agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with team members to drive continuous improvements and deliverables.
• Analyse, troubleshoot, and optimise system performance and scalability.
• Recommend and implement technology improvements and best practices.
• Ensure high-quality code, testing, and development standards.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, HTML5 CSS, and REST APIs.
• Experience with ReactJS and Redux.
• Good understanding of OOP concepts and MVC architecture.
• Working knowledge of SQL and/or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Experience with shell scripting (Bash/Shell) and command-line tools.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience).

Good to Have:

• Exposure to tools/technologies like Docker, Selenium/Cypress, Kibana, Snowflake, and Sentry.
• Experience with debugging, monitoring, and observability tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices.
