We do not replace existing care teams; we enhance them, providing an extra layer of support with compassion, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to children with medical complexity.\nWhat You’ll Do \nAs a Senior Fullstack Engineer with Imagine Pediatrics, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and maturing our backend systems and architecture that enable Imagine Pediatrics to seamlessly provide care for special needs children.\nDesign, build, and maintain backend applications, microservices, and APIs that enable high scalability and performance\nImplement third-party integrations and external APIs to enhance the platform’s capabilities\nEnsure backend systems are secure, well-documented, and thoroughly tested\nDevelop, test, and deliver client-facing, production-ready features\nBe a strong collaborator in a cross-disciplinary, remote Product Engineering team\nEffectively communicate while interacting with technical and non-technical audiences\nCommunicate with business stakeholders to understand goals and translate them to technical architecture and requirements\nHave a collaborative, data-driven, and iterative approach to building products\nEstimate product scope and timelines\nJump in to work on various parts of the stack as needed\nPerform other duties as assigned\nWhat You Bring & How You Qualify \nFirst and foremost, you’repassionate and committed to reimagining pediatric health care and creating a world where every child with complex medical conditions gets the care and supportthey deserve.\nDeep understanding and experience with cloud-based services, service design patterns, data structures, data integrations\nA collaborative, client-friendly approach to API design\nExperience with modern technologies (NodeJS/Typescript (or similar languages), AWS, Terraform, React)\nStrong understanding and value for all the layers of a production system including data, internal and third-party integrations, testing, and user-facing clients\nExperience building highly scalable and performant backend services strongly preferred\nExperience working in a fast-paced, hypergrowth, collaborative environment\nExperience in healthcare / virtual care preferred, FHIR experience a bonus\nAn understanding of web/mobile uses cases and a willingness to jump into different parts of the stack when needed\nWillingness to participate in on-call rotation\nWhat We Offer (Benefits + Perks) \nThe role offers a base salary range of $160,000 - $180,000 in addition to annual bonus, competitive company benefits package and eligibility to participate in an employee equity purchase program (as applicable).
