You will architect and implement core platform components, optimize system performance, and collaborate closely with product, DevOps, and engineering leadership. This role requires deep expertise in Go, hands-on experience with React.js, strong systems-level thinking, and the ability to influence engineering direction.\nThis role is Monday-Friday,fully onsite in our client's office in Atlanta (Midtown). Candidates must be able to commute to the client site daily.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Go.\nBuild and maintain responsive, reusable React.js components and front-end features that integrate with Go-based APIs.\nArchitect distributed systems and microservices with a focus on scalability, reliability, and observability.\nDesign and document clean, well-versioned APIs (REST, gRPC, or GraphQL) that support both internal services and front-end applications.\nOptimize performance across APIs, data pipelines, and service-to-service communication.\nImplement best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, and cloud-native deployment.\nWrite comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests across both backend and front-end codebases.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, DevOps, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.\nWork directly with client stakeholders onsite to gather requirements, clarify priorities, and translate business needs into technical solutions.\nLead technical decisions around system design, data modeling, and infrastructure.\nEnsure application security best practices, including authentication, authorization, input validation, and secure data handling.\nMentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing code reviews and architectural guidance.\nTroubleshoot complex production issues, including performance bottlenecks and distributed system failures.\nParticipate in sprint planning, estimation, and agile ceremonies with the client's engineering teams.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and runbooks.\nEvaluate and adopt AI-assisted development tools and practices to accelerate delivery and improve quality.\nContribute to technical roadmaps and long-term engineering strategy.\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of backend engineering experience, with 3+ years of hands-on Go development.\n2+ years of professional experience building applications with React.js, including hooks, state management (e.g., Redux, Context API, or similar), and component-driven architecture.\nExperience building microservices and distributed systems at scale.\nProficiency with REST, gRPC, GraphQL, or event-driven architectures.\nDeep experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).\nStrong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, caching layers, and message queues.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and observability tools Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).\nAbility to write clean, maintainable, idiomatic Go code.\nAbility to work onsite Monday-Friday at the client's office in Midtown Atlanta.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with high-throughput, low-latency systems.\nExperience with Next.js, front-end testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright), and front-end performance optimization.\nExperience with Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems.\nKnowledge of domain-driven design (DDD) or clean architecture.\nPrior consulting or client-facing experience.\nThis role is based in the US and only open to citizens and permanent residents of the US who do not require visa
