Full-time role in Garissa.\n\nJob Description\n\nThe role holder is responsible for driving branch performance against key performance standards as communicated and agreed with the head of business segment in areas such as; Balance sheet growth (funded and non-funded lines) sales growth & income contribution, cost performance, credit management, employee satisfaction, customer experience & Operational risk & control management.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDrive branch business performance through achievement of growth, profitability, and customer acquisition targets.\n\nDevelop and execute strategies to grow funded and non-funded business portfolios.\n\nIdentify and pursue new business opportunities from both existing and prospective customers.\n\nBuild and maintain strong customer relationships while delivering exceptional service standards.\n\nMonitor branch sales performance and portfolio growth against agreed targets.\n\nAnalyze financial statements, assess credit requests, and provide recommendations for approval.\n\nOversee credit portfolio quality, including management of loan arrears and excess drawings.\n\nEnsure timely perfection and registration of collateral and securities.\n\nLead, coach, and motivate branch staff to achieve high performance standards.\n\nManage branch operational risk, compliance, and internal controls.\n\nPrepare and submit regular business performance and activity reports.\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and branch efficiency.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field.\n\nRelevant professional qualification in Banking, Finance, Business Management, or a related discipline.\n\nMembership in a recognized professional body is an added advantage.\n\nMinimum of 10 years’ relevant banking or financial services experience, including at least 3 years in a management role.\n\nKey Competencies\n\nStrong
