The BP&A Team is responsible for reporting and analytics across all teams at IMC including Trading, Finance, Mid Office, and HR. You will work together to understand their needs and provide them with meaningful insights through data analysis and reporting. As a BP&A team member, you will create reporting and analysis that has a global impact. Your projects will include collaboration with teammates in both our Sydney and Amsterdam offices. Together, you will analyze big data and extract valuable information, making it readily available in the decision making process. You will also get the benefit of seeing the full data cycle from extraction to modelling, visualization and, and finally presenting the results. \nThe ideal candidate acts as a true partner to the business and is both technical and business-savvy, displaying strong analytical and interpersonal skills. \nYou’ll be responsible for:\nExecution and implementation of all (Global) BP&A aspects of strategic company projects.\nDatabase development, maintenance, ETL process improvement and automation (ETLs mainly in python, json, qlik (bnf)).\nReport development and maintenance in BI tooling in line with business requirements.\nManaging the pipeline from development to production for the data and reporting layers.\nYou will act as a true partner to all areas of the business in our Sydney office - working across all departments in the business to identify and collect requirements to support any analysis / reporting needs.\nWe strive to create cohesive global teams and in addition to the local team in Sydney, you will closely collaborate with teams in Amsterdam and Chicago.\nYou’ll likely bring to the table:\nDegree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics or other quantitative backgrounds (Preferred).\n3+ years of relevant work experience in data analysis / business intelligence.\nStrong Python commercial experience (PyCharm experience preferred but not essential).\nExperience with developing business reporting applications (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Qlikview / Qlik Sense).\nProficiency in SQL.\nExperience with Git and JIRA preferred.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nInterest in and preferably exposure to finance processes.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills.\nStrong business acumen, and someone who thrives within a dynamic, quickly changing environment.\nAbout Us\nIMC is a research-driven trading firm where quantitative modeling, machine learning, and engineering shape how modern markets are traded.
