The role supports expansion of the brand across KwaZulu-Natal and other agreed markets.\n\nDuties & Responsibilities\n\n Identify, research, and develop new franchisee prospects and business acquisition opportunities\n\n Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of franchise leads, follow up on enquiries, and support prospects through the franchise acquisition process.\n\n Develop relationships with prospective franchisees, commercial property owners, landlords, brokers, developers, and other relevant stakeholders.\n\n Source, assess, and recommend potential sites based on location suitability, foot traffic, accessibility, market opportunity, and commercial viability.\n\n Coordinate site assessments and work with internal decision-makers and prospective franchisees to progress suitable locations.\n\n Negotiate lease terms and coordinate the preparation, review, signing, and renewal of lease agreements in consultation with the appropriate internal or legal stakeholders.\n\n Maintain a schedule of lease expiries, renewals, rental escalations, and other key property obligations.\n\n Coordinate new store development from site identification through lease finalisation, fit-out, and opening, liaising with relevant internal teams and external contractors.\n\n Plan and coordinate refurbishments and revamps of existing outlets, tracking timelines, budgets, quality, and operational disruption.\n\n Represent at franchise expos, trade shows, property events, and other business-development forums to promote the brand and generate leads.\n\n Conduct market and competitor research to identify expansion opportunities and provide recommendations to management.\n\n Maintain accurate records of leads, franchise prospects, site evaluations, lease documentation, project milestones, and expansion activity.\n\n Provide regular reports to the General Manager on the acquisition pipeline, site opportunities, lease negotiations, store openings, refurbishments, risks, and progress against agreed targets\n\n Work collaboratively with operations, finance, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure expansion plans are commercially sound and aligned with requirements.\n\nDesired Experience & Qualification\n\n At least 10 years’ relevant experience in business development, franchise development, commercial property, retail site acquisition, or a related field.\n\n Demonstrable experience generating new business leads and progressing opportunities through to successful acquisition or agreement.\n\n Experience sourcing and evaluating commercial sites and negotiating lease agreements and renewals.\n\n Experience coordinating store openings, fit-outs, refurbishments, or similar multi-site projects.\n\n A tertiary qualification in business, marketing, property studies, commerce, or a related discipline would be advantageous but is not essential where relevant experience is strong.\n\n Experience in quick-service restaurants (QSR), food service, retail, or franchising would be advantageous.\n\n Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively across the assigned regions\n\nPackage &
