This is a senior, hands-on role: you design and improve our infrastructure, and you carry out the technical work yourself.\nYour responsibilities\nDesign, implement, operate, and maintain infrastructure across on-premises environments, our co-located data center racks, and cloud services, including Microsoft 365.\n\nManage the lifecycle of servers, storage systems, networking equipment, workstations, and notebooks, including provisioning, maintenance, upgrades, and decommissioning.\n\nMonitor system availability, capacity, and performance, particularly across network and storage infrastructure. Troubleshoot issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.\n\nDesign and maintain identity, authentication, authorization, group membership, and access provisioning processes.\n\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and maintenance using infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management tools such as Terraform/OpenTofu and Ansible.\n\nDevelop scripts and small internal tools or services to automate recurring tasks, integrate systems, and improve operational workflows.\n\nDefine and implement infrastructure security controls, backup and recovery procedures, and measures to maintain service availability and data integrity.\n\nAutomate workstation provisioning and configuration, manage endpoint software and settings, and provide hands-on support for office IT issues.When something needs to be implemented or fixed, you take care of it directly.\n\nYour profile\nAt least five years of relevant professional experience in systems administration, IT infrastructure engineering, or a comparable role.\n\nStrong Linux administration skills, including troubleshooting and maintaining production systems.\n\nPractical experience with container technologies such as Docker or Podman.\n\nExperience with infrastructure as code and configuration management, for example Ansible or Terraform/OpenTofu.\n\nSolid knowledge of network architecture and administration, including VLANs, firewalls, routing, and VPN technologies such as WireGuard.\n\nExperience designing, implementing, and operating on-premises infrastructure and cloud services, including appropriate security controls.
