This individual will support the development of alumni data collection and tracking systems, research best practices, and identify opportunities to reconnect with alumni and build lasting relationships. \nThis is a unique opportunity to contribute to a program from the ground up while gaining hands-on experience in research, program development, and relationship management. \nKey Responsibilities \nAlumni Data Collection & Management: Research and identify alumni, gather contact information, and help establish and maintain an organized alumni database. \nResearch & Benchmarking: Explore successful alumni programs at independent schools, universities, and athletic institutions to identify best practices and engagement opportunities. \nProgram Development: Assist in creating foundational processes, tracking systems, and recommendations to support the long-term growth of the alumni program. \nAlumni Engagement: Support initial outreach efforts, alumni surveys, and the identification of alumni stories, achievements, and potential engagement opportunities. \nProject Coordination: Organize research, track progress, and assist with developing resources and reports to support program planning. \nLearning Objectives \nGain hands-on experience building a new alumni relations program from the ground up. \nDevelop research, data analysis, and database management skills. \nStrengthen professional communication, organization, and project management skills. \nGain exposure to strategic planning, relationship management, and community engagement. \nUnderstand how alumni relations contribute to school culture, institutional pride, and lifelong connections. \nQualifications for the Role \nCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Sports Management, Education, or a related field. \nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. \nProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other common office applications. \nStrong research, written communication, and interpersonal skills. \nSelf-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable taking initiative in a developing program. \nAbility to handle confidential information professionally. \nInterest in alumni engagement, education, athletics, or community building. \nPrevious experience with databases, CRM systems, or research is a plus but not
