Working alongside experienced Event Engineers, you will gain hands-on exposure to every stage of live event delivery, from equipment preparation and testing through to on-site deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and event support.\nThis is a unique opportunity to work on premium global sporting events while developing specialist knowledge in broadcast transmission, IP networking, fibre technologies, and remote production workflows.\nThe role is primarily based in London at 3 Gunthorpe Street, London, E1 7RL, with regular visits to IMG Studios, Stockley Park (Hayes, Uxbridge) for equipment builds and testing. Extensive UK, European, and international travel will be required to support live events worldwide.\nKey Responsibilities\nPre-Event Preparation\nAssist with the staging, configuration, and testing of event equipment.\nRead and interpret network topology, schematic, and engineering drawings.\nSupport the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.\nParticipate in customer and project planning meetings.\nLiaise with telecommunications suppliers under the guidance of senior engineers.\nPrepare, label, pack, ship, and track equipment for events.\nMaintain accurate inventory records.\nOn-Site Event Delivery\nSupport the installation, rigging, testing, and commissioning of transmission systems.\nAssist with network connectivity, encoding, decoding, and transmission services.\nMonitor event equipment and associated video, audio, and data services.\nProvide first-line technical support to customers and stakeholders on-site.\nEscalate service issues appropriately to senior engineers.\nMaintain accurate operational logs and documentation throughout events.\nSupport equipment de-rig and pack-down activities following event completion.\nEnsure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety requirements.\nTraining & Development\nWe are committed to developing the next generation of broadcast engineers.
