TKO also services and partners with major sports rights holders through IMG, an industry-leading global sports marketing agency; and On Location, a global leader in premium experiential hospitality.\n\nKey Responsibilities and Accountabilities\nOwn the end-to-end edit and delivery process for the NHL Europe and NHL Deutschland YouTube channels, from brief through to final export, quality control and delivery.\nEdit long-form and short-form content, including features, interviews, documentaries, archive-led stories, player content and game-related edits tailored for YouTube, including Shorts.\nHave a strong understanding of pacing, hooks, retention, watchability, aspect ratios, safe areas, thumbnails, titles and opening sequences.\nSupport live streams and live or near-live content activity, including the preparation of assets, cutdowns and supporting video around games, events and major NHL moments.\nAbility to meet short turnarounds and responding quickly to live, reactive and near-live gameplay.\nUse motion graphics, animation and visual effects to aid compelling storytelling.\nCreate and manage German and English subtitles, captions and on-screen text, ensuring language accuracy, timing, readability and accessibility across long-form and short-form edits.\nSource and select clips independently from approved NHL footage, archive, supplied materials, creator content and other rights-cleared sources, maintaining clear provenance and following agreed rights workflows.\nWork with NHL.com International teams to coordinate edits, footage, content production, approvals, delivery requirements and publishing priorities across the international operation.\nWork with hosts, presenters, creators and on-camera talent where required, shaping edits that bring out personality, clarity and audience value.\nMaintain clean, organised and repeatable post-production workflows, including media management, version control, naming conventions, exports, backups and archiving project files.\nContribute ideas for new formats, series and editorial approaches that can build repeat viewing and strengthen the NHL’s video presence in Europe and Germany.\nStay current with YouTube video formats, conventions, audience behavior and emerging platform features.\nKnowledge and Experience\nDemonstrable professional experience as a Video Editor, ideally within sports, media, entertainment, broadcast, agency or publisher environments.\nHigh-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.\nA strong portfolio showing long-form and short-form editing across digital and social platforms in the form of a showreel or website.\nProfessional-level German, with strong written and spoken English.
