The Senior Program Manager, CMC will drive planning, execution, and integration across manufacturing, analytical, quality, regulatory, and supply chain functions to support clinical development and commercialization goals. This role serves as a strategic partner across technical and operational teams, ensuring alignment, proactive risk management, and readiness for key milestones, including regulatory submissions and commercial manufacturing.\nReports to: Senior Director, Program Management\nLocation: 13203 Murphy Road Suite 100 Stafford, TX 77477\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in life sciences, medicine, immunology, oncology, pharmacy, health sciences, or a related field\n7 years of experience within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or oncology-focused clinical development environments\nDemonstrated experience in CMC program/project management or complex project leadership, leading cross-functional CMC activities, including manufacturing, quality, analytical, and regulatory operations\nAcademic or industry experience in cell and gene therapy, immunology/oncology, or bioprocessing/manufacturing sciences\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAdvanced degree such as a Masters or PhD in life sciences, medicine, immunology, oncology, pharmacy, health sciences, or a related field\nExperience supporting late-stage CMC programs in immunology, oncology, or cell and gene therapy\nProven experience managing complex programs and critical paths across multiple technical and operational functions\nProficiency with project management tools, dashboards, and reporting systems in regulated environments\nProven leadership, stakeholder management, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments\nAdvanced ability to identify risks, drive decision-making, and implement process improvements across cross-functional teams\nExperience coordinating external vendors, CMOs, CDMOs, or consulting partners\nStrong communication and presentation skills with experience supporting senior leadership discussions and strategic planning\nIn this role you will:\nDevelop and maintain CMC program plans, timelines, risk registers, trackers, and reporting tools to support integrated program execution\nManage CMC deliverables, milestones, and critical paths while ensuring alignment with overarching development program timelines\nLead and facilitate cross-functional CMC meetings, including agenda development, documentation, action tracking, and follow-up activities\nDrive collaboration across Manufacturing, Process Development, Analytical Development, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Patient Operations teams\nCoordinate and oversee activities with external vendors, contractors, CMOs, and CDMOs\nSupport strategic planning, governance, and decision-making activities with department leaders and senior management\nContribute to continuous improvement of CMC program management tools, processes, onboarding, and operational best practices\nWhat do we offer?\nAt Immatics, we believe in investing in our team’s health, safety and well-being.
