We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.\nAbout the role:\nThe successful candidate will work in a fast-paced team alongside highly experienced scientists and will interface closely with a multidisciplinary team of immunology, molecular biology, and bioinformatics scientists. Specifically, they will contribute to the Molecular Profiling team performing high throughput profiling of clinical and experimental samples using single cell multiomics, flow cytometry and bulk RNA-seq. The successful candidate will be an excellent team player, agile in thought, energetic, and willing to learn new methods and skills.\nLocation: NYC, New York (on-site position)\nWhat will you do?\nAugment the team’s molecular profiling efforts using a wide range of techniques, including single-cell library preparation, spatial profiling and processing (e.g., Akoya CODEX and Xenium), and flow cytometry.\nPerform tissue sectioning and H&E staining to support spatial molecular profiling including Xenium \nPrepare high-quality tissue sections for tissue-based single cell molecular assays, e.g. FFPEseq\nMaintain a complete, accurate, and timely electronic record of all experiments using an information management system\nDocument, compile and assist with interpreting experimental data \nWork with supervisor to plan project requirements and timelines\nOperate and maintain automated laboratory equipment to complete investigations\nPrepare, order, and maintain stocks of necessary reagents, solutions, and supplies\nActively participate in cross-functional team meetings and communicate effectively with other members of the lab, computational biology, and software team\nRequirements\nRequired qualifications:\nBS degree or higher in Biology or life-science field required\nMust possess at least 2-4 years of experience in a research laboratory, ability to work without supervision\nMust possess a familiarity with molecular biology techniques and sterile techniques\nMust possess a familiarity with single cell multiomics and NGS library preparation\nStrong analytical skills, problem solving ability, and innovation aptitude required\nMust be willing to discover and learn new software and technology applications quickly\nMust have strong attention to detail and an ability to multi-task\nExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work as part of a team are essential\nExcellent organization and time management skills\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision\nDesired personal traits:\nYou want to make an impact on humankind\nYou prioritize “We” over “I”\nYou enjoy getting things done and striving for excellence\nYou collaborate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures\nYou have a growth mindset\nYou are candid, authentic, and transparent\nCompensation: This position offers a salary typically between $85,000 - $95,000.
