framework using Appium and/or Native Android automation frameworks.\nDevelop automated tests across the mobile and API layers, with database validation where required.\nEstablish testing for offline workflows, restricted connectivity, and real-world field conditions.\nDefine mobile performance benchmarks covering startup, FPS, janks, ANRs, rendering, memory, CPU, battery, and network performance.\nEstablish API and PSR testing for critical mobile-backend workflows.\nIntegrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and enable reliable regression testing.\nBuild a real-device and emulator testing strategy.\nCollaborate with Android, Backend, Architecture, DevOps, and Product teams to identify and resolve quality risks.\nSupport UAT, phased rollouts, production validation, and releases.\nWhat lands you in this role\n4-7 years of hands-on experience in QA, test automation, and functional testing, with strong mobile testing experience.\nStrong expertise in Native Android QA and automation.\nHands-on experience with Appium and/or Android automation frameworks such as Espresso or UI Automator.\nStrong understanding of mobile scenarios including app lifecycle, permissions, deep links, push notifications, background/foreground transitions, offline workflows, network conditions, and device fragmentation.\nExperience testing on real Android devices and emulators across Android versions and device configurations.\nStrong programming experience with Python/Pytest or equivalent automation frameworks.\nAbility to design and build scalable mobile automation frameworks.\nExperience with mobile performance testing, including startup time, FPS, janks, ANRs, rendering, CPU, memory, battery, and network performance.\nExperience with API automation for REST APIs and mobile-backend workflows.\nProficiency in SQL/database validation.\nExperience testing slow, intermittent, restricted, and offline network conditions.\nExperience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.\nStrong experience with functional, regression, integration, system, end-to-end, performance, scalability, and reliability testing.\nStrong debugging and problem-solving skills.\nGood to have\nSelenium or Playwright for web automation.\nJMeter or Postman.\nDocker and cloud-based device farms.\nGCP or other cloud platforms.\nExperience testing offline-first enterprise
