You will build and evolve the services, APIs, and data workflows behind products used by many of the world's best-known brands. You will also be responsible for providing screens with smooth user experiences to connect these data flows to our customers.\nThis is a hybrid role based in our Columbus, OH office, requiring in-office days on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week.\nWhat You'll Do:\nOwn features from concept to production.\nDesign, build, and evolve Java services, modules, and APIs that support high-volume tracking, data, and commerce workflows.\nProvide guidance and expertise for maintaining and creating the screens that help configure and drive our backend data processing\nMake sound technical decisions across service boundaries, relational data, asynchronous processing, reliability, and operational performance.\nInvestigate and resolve production issues before they spoil your weekend.\nIntegrate with external APIs and build clear, reliable interfaces for consumers.\nShare technical judgment with the team through design discussions, code review, and mentoring.\nBe part of a continuously improving, agile team.\nWhat You Bring:\nJava & Spring: Solid understanding of Java 8+, Spring frameworks, and Spring MVC.\nDatabase & Persistence: Experience with SQL, MySQL (or other RDBMS), and JDBC.\nWeb Foundations: Expertise in vanilla JavaScript, HTML, CSS, DOM manipulation, and RESTful APIs.\nModern Client-Side Frameworks: Applied experience with Vue preferred\nComfortable in the Linux terminal, using command-line to troubleshoot systems.\nClear communication and collaborative problem-solving skills, with a record of helping teams deliver high-quality software.\nSolid security practices: Working with JWTs, guarding against XSS, and preventing SQL injection.\nNice To Have:\nExperience translating requirements and stakeholder feedback into features, and building interfaces from design mockups (e.g., Figma).\nProduction delivery experience: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions) and using CDNs to serve web assets.\nExperience building applications on public cloud platforms and working with cloud-native or serverless technologies (Google Cloud preferred).\nExperience using AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude Code, thoughtfully and effectively.\nAffiliate & Partnerships Industry Fundamentals Certification by PXA.\nSalary Range: $120,000 - $135,000 per year, plus an additional 5% variable annual bonus contingent on Company performance and eligible to receive a Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grant. *This is the pay range the Company believes is equitable for this position at the time of this posting.
