This position is responsible supporting and assisting the daily loadout of contract installers. The Warehouse Associate will support the shipping and receiving process as well as maintain the warehouse cleanliness and inventory structure.\nWarehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.\nAssist with shipping and receiving, loading & unloading trucks, and scheduling freight carriers to pick up and deliver freight\nReading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped. \nSorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.\nFilling sales orders, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to shipping or to designated assembly area.\nRecording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.\nWeighing and counting items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards.\nOrganizing warehouse and work area for orderliness/cleanliness at all times.\nConserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.\nGathers and positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.\nWarehouse Associate Competencies\nDemonstrate and understand compliance of the company’s safety processes.\nWork in a fast pace environment with accuracy. \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nBasic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.\nGood analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.\nExperience and ability using computer programs preferred\nRequirements\nWarehouse Associate Education and Work Experience Requirements\nHigh School Diploma or GED Equivalent\nValid Driver’s license required\n1-year experience in warehouse work environment preferred. \nForklift
